Rev. D. Russel John

Founder & President

Rev. D. Russel John is the Founder & President of  FAITH IN ACTION CHURCH OF GOD with the vision to reach the unreached through evangelism, pastoral ministry.

 Rev. Russel John D was born on Jan 10, 1955 to a traditional Christian family. He went to  Mumbai at the age of 20 in search of a job. As he was doing his job he got a chance to know Jesus  in a special way and he accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Saviour. Then he took baptism  and God anointed him with His Holy Spirit. At the age of 25, he received the call of God to do His  ministry. In the beginning he denied the call, but at the age of 29 he resigned his job  and came back to his own home town. By the grace of God in the year 1984 he began to share  the gospel near his village Choozhal (located in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu). Many  accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour. The Sunday service was started on March  31, 1985.

He was married to Vasantha T and she is assisting him in the ministry and God has  blessed me with two Sons (Salu John R, Blessing John R) and one daughter (Mercel  Fenila John). His second Son Blessing John R was promoted to glory on July 1,  2003.  He is involved in the ministry for the last 37 years
